Appellation: Arroyo Seco AVA, Monterey County, 100% Chardonnay. Aged in barrel sur lie for 18 months in 50% new oak barrels. Aromas of pear, apple and lime custard with a bouquet of grilled hazelnuts, butter and honey. An intensely viscous wine with an almost sweet, creamy texture. Suggested food pairings: Roasted chicken or cream-sauced pasta dishes. Delicious now, but can be cellared for up to five years.
