J. Lohr Los Osos Merlot This Merlot (88.4% Merlot, 6.5% Cabernet Sauvignon, 5.1% Cabernet Franc), is deep, vibrant plum-red in colour with complex syrupy red fruit aromas of raspberry, red currant, blacberry and violet with a bouquet of vanilla, roasted almond and smokey oak toast. It is very concentrated with ripe and substantial, yet velvety, tannins that make it drinkable now and should develop beautifully with extented bottle aging.
